Based in Goleta, California, Kevin Chau is a systems test engineer with Raytheon Technologies, where he designs, validates, and simulates the digital circuits of an infrared camera system. Kevin Chau also ensures that infrared systems meet compliance mandates and industry standards and perform reliably in various environments and situations. He collaborates with quality assurance to validate the overall stability of the system.
Mr. Chau previously worked as an Apex Microtechnology application engineering intern, collaborating with design engineers to incorporate customer feedback into the development of functional designs. His responsibilities extended to the building, soldering, and modification of test circuit configurations, allowing for issue corrections and the determination of root causes of failures.
Mr. Chau completed his bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Arizona. He earned First Place Awards for Best Design: Sustainable Energy System and Most Ethical Engineered System Design. In his free time, Mr. Chau enjoys playing football, practicing Muay Thai, and participating in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
